Essential Safety Gear Every EUC Rider Needs
Electric unicycles are incredible fun — but they can reach serious speeds. Proper safety gear isn't optional, it's essential. Here's what every rider should have.
Helmet
Non-negotiable. At minimum, a certified bicycle helmet. For faster riding (30km/h+), consider a full-face helmet designed for e-skate or downhill use.
Wrist Guards
Your wrists are the most common injury point in any fall. Quality wrist guards with splints can prevent fractures and sprains.
Knee & Elbow Pads
Especially important while learning. Even experienced riders wear knee pads — one bad dismount on concrete is all it takes.
Gloves
Padded riding gloves protect your palms and give better grip. Look for ones with knuckle protection for extra safety.
High-Vis / Lights
If you ride at dawn, dusk, or night, visibility is critical. A reflective vest and front/rear lights can save your life.
